Netherlands, 1947 - 2011
Born in Holland in 1947, Hans Verschoor lived in a state of isolation that led him to compulsively create artworks in which he depicted the circumstances of his life. He devoted himself to painting, sculpture and ceramics, in which he fundamentally addressed the themes of loneliness, indifference and hostility.
