Hadad, Abraham
Iraq, 1937
Abraham Hadad was born in Iraq in 1937 and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Tel Aviv. He was a professor at the School of Fine Arts in Paris between 1977 and 2002. In the 1960s, the path he chose was that of narrative figuration. His paintings reflect his intimate universe: his studio, the painter and his model, the family, the wedding and the bath, creating an original world, populated by timeless and often naked beings, with round silhouettes and intense looks.
