Baillon, Agnès
France, 1963
Agnès Baillon was born in Aisne in July 1963. She studied at École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris (1989) and she won the Sculpture Prize at the Salon de Montrouge, in 1999. She was devoted herself entirely to sculpture since 1990. Using materials such as resin, papier mâché, bronze or porcelain, Agnès Baillon sculpts figures whose frailness is paradoxical: they reveal an ethereal and silent side but they are at the same time enigmatic and disconcerting.
