Gianni Antonelli was born in Vincennes and grew up in the suburbs of Paris with his four brothers and sisters. Since 2002, he has been attending an art therapy studio program in the Parisian suburbs. He draws on small sheets of cardboard using pencils, ballpoint pens and coloured pencils, occasionally enhanced with fluorescent colours. Although inspired by love and peace, his works are heavy with irony.
