Victor Ulloa’s painting is a synthesis between Spanish, African and indigenous  polytheistic culture. Syncretism, magic and fantastic expression, tempered by everyday events, endows transcendent modernity to Victor Ulloa’s work . His rich, mixed, protein-filled materials and the earth, ochre and brick colours are animated by a “blue sea”, combined with a “sky blue”, colours of the infinite horizon that circle his island.
