Li Zhongdong was born in Shuangyashan (China) in 1968. After leaving school he worked as a miner, beekeeper, waiter, among others. Nowadays he works in a Baozin store. Li has been developing his artistic practice for over 20 years. In addition to painting with India ink and gouache on large rice paper, she also uses a variety of materials in her productions, including fabrics, cement, wood and recovered objects. His narrative themes, initially taken from his everyday life, are transformed according to his imagination.
